Hi Facebook friends, Laura at Smiths Boathouse here with an exciting announcement! With all of the devastation happening around us we often ask the question “what can I do to help?” I personally have friends in the Asheville, NC area who have been greatly impacted by Hurricane Helene and are organizing efforts to get supplies to those in need and posting receipts daily of where these funds are going. At The Boathouse, we want to help this effort— on Thursday, October 17th we are hosting a Dine to Donate event where 30% of our sales will be donated directly to those with boots on the ground organizing efforts for disaster relief. Please consider joining us that evening and helping this dire cause. I will be posting in the comments my friends Go Fund Me and you can follow along with their relief efforts and even donate if you can’t make it to the event.
